For 2022-2023 School Year
First and foremost, our team has been working behind the scenes to move our videos away from the Vimeo platform. We are excited to make these videos more accessible to you and your students whether it be on campus or at home. This shift is happening throughout the month of June.
The following NEW resources will be available in your online account on or before August 3!
Teaching slides for instruction are now available for our student handouts! The slides provide space to annotate, explain and markup the examples as you teach. The slides cover each problem on the student handouts and are grayscale, allowing you to use color strategically as you highlight and demonstrate problem solving skills to your students. The slide decks will be available as Google Slides with the option to download as a PowerPoint presentation.
In each grade level, we’ve added two real-world projects intended to be engaging opportunities for extension and application of skills. Each project can serve as an assessment of students’ understanding while encouraging inquiry and critical thinking amongst your students. The standards-aligned projects were designed so that one project focuses on content covered in the fall semester with the second project capturing content from the spring semester. Each project is flexible in nature and includes teaching slides, warm-ups, exit tickets, student recording sheets and a project overview to help you structure class time and implement project components as smoothly as possible.
Standards Reference Guide
We have created a Google Sheet to help you navigate where each standard is covered in our curricula! This searchable database will allow you to find where every single standard is covered across student handouts, homework, assessments, activities, and digital activities. The Standards Reference Guide is color coded, organized by Major or Supporting Clusters (CCSS) and Readiness or Supporting Standards (TEKS). Use this resource to help streamline lesson planning and aid in adapting our scope and sequence to your district requirements!
Similar to our editable tests, the unit quizzes are now editable in PowerPoint! You can now create multiple versions, differentiate all assessments and create retakes with minimal effort! Quizzes and tests will still be available in Google Forms.
