This summer, I am partnering with my friend Erin from Mrs. Beers Class, to share ideas for organization, routines and procedures, homeroom, and some fun ideas for teaching middle school.  For the next six weeks we will be collaborating and sharing some inspiration and ideas to help you gear up for the school year ahead.

10 Things Middle Schoolers Want You to Know

Today, Erin is sharing 10 Things Middle Schoolers Want You to Know and offers some great perspective for teachers and parents!  From projects to grades to technology…here is a snippet.

I have reached the point in my life where not only have I had the good fortune of teaching middle school, but I now have a middle school student of my own. My oldest will be tackling his second year of middle school in August. Teaching middle school is a bit different from parenting a middle schooler, so I feel as though I have two different perspectives to share from. I spent time reflecting and talking with my son about his first year of middle school before writing this post. The quotes are his…love them or leave them. Here are ten insights I wanted to share to help you feel connected and aware as a middle school teacher and/or middle school parent…

Hi. Can we use or copy the you tube maneuvering the middle videos with our students in their digital distance learning?
