Teacher Gift Guides

A few months ago I received a text message from my sister-in-law. She was asking for some gift ideas for her teacher friend’s birthday. It really got me thinking. Obviously teachers LOVE dry erase markers, boxes of Kleenex, and a quality pencil sharpener, but those aren’t the things you really want to open on your birthday. In fact, as a gift giver its not the most exciting thing to wrap up and put under the Christmas tree. The genuine, personal, yet helpful teacher gift is a struggle.  So, I created five teacher gift guides to help get the ideas following!

5 Teacher Gift Guides

All teachers are different, but we tend to have a bent towards organization and other incredible qualities. So, I went ahead and created some handy gift ideas for several types of teachers.

The Techy Teacher

This teacher is the go to teach guy or gal in the school. He or she has great little gadgets, lines up to get the latest iPhone, and can be counted on to get the projector up and running in the case of an emergency.

The Fashionable Teacher

We all know the fashionable teacher. He or she can be found wearing the latest trends before they are trends. They have perfect hair on the rainiest of days and can wear a scarf twelve different ways.

The Healthy Teacher

At lunch a healthy teacher can be identified by the homemade salad, apple, and bottle of water. He or she avoids the Friday doughnuts and can be found leaving school in work out clothes as they hit the gym.

Teachers who bake

Everyone loves the baking teacher. She leaves sweet treats in the teachers lounge and can always be counted on for the signature dessert for the teacher pot luck lunch.

The Busy Teacher

Clearly all teachers are busy, so this might be double duty. Always on the run, headed to children’s sporting events, or running the after school club, this teacher is in a hurry and has a to-do list to accomplish.
