Teachers use this COMPLETE test prep unit to review 6th, 7th, 8th, and Algebra 1 middle school math skills. Offered for both CCSS and TEKS to best suit your students’ needs. This file is jam packed with teacher guides, warm ups, cheat sheets, class activities, and 8-10 question mini assessments.

There is more than enough for a 10 day review, so think of it like a buffet with many options to pick from and multiple ideas for use.

Teacher Materials and Warm-Ups

Teacher materials include the standards covered, vocabulary and keywords, and common mistakes and misconceptions.

Two different warm-ups per day can be used as a refresher at the beginning of class or used as a short formative assessment at the end of class.

CHEAT SHEETS

Graphically engaging cheat sheet with key information about the standards. Three versions including one that is ready to print, a fill in the blank, or a blank version that can be used for brain dumps.

ENGAGING ACTIVITIES

10 class activities to keep students engaged during review. This includes some favorites like Scavenger Hunts, Task Cards, He Said She Said, Find It Fix It, and others. Almost all activities are print-and-go, while the puzzle and cut and paste will require glue and scissors.

QUICK CHECKS

An 8-10 question mini assessment is provided for each topic. Similar to testing formats, the questions include both multiple choice and griddable. Quick checks are also available as self-grading Google Forms.
