Welcome to www.maneuveringthemiddle.com. We provide math resources for teachers and other educational professionals of students in K12 education. We value the privacy of all of our users and have created this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) with you in mind.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the personal information of our users and website visitors. This website is intended to be used by teachers and other educational professionals. In this Privacy Policy, “you” or “your” means a website visitor or adult user of our website. By accessing or using www.maneuveringthemiddle.com, our materials, content, and other products (“Resources”) made available by Maneuvering the Middle, LLC (“MTM,” “we,” “us,”) through our Website or our platform (collectively, “the Website”), you are consenting to the collection and use of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time. Your continued use of this Website after we make changes is deemed to be acceptance of those changes, so please check the Privacy Policy periodically for updates.

1. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY. We provide educational resources via our Website to teachers and other educational instructors who use the Resources for the educational instruction of children. Teachers and educational instructors may share Resources with children through printed Resource materials or by sharing video instructional content via one-way video content. While our customers and their authorized users are permitted to use the Resources for educational purposes which are intended for the educational instruction of minor children, including those under the age of thirteen (13), at no time does MTM knowingly collect, use, or disclose personal information of children, including those under the age of thirteen (13). We do not permit children to create an account and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under thirteen (13), please contact us at contact(at)maneuveringthemiddle.com so that we may delete the information as soon as possible.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT. We collect information directly from you that you provide to us, automatically through your use of the Website, and from third-party service providers that support our Website.

A. Information You Provide Directly. The primary way we collect information from you is when you provide your name and email address to set up user access under a school-specific account. However, we may collect other information from you when you provide information to us to create or update an account, purchase Resources, fill out forms on the Website, contact us by email, chat, or other means, respond to promotions, or otherwise submit information through the Website. The information we collect may include:

  • Account and contact information, such as your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, username, and password;
  • Billing and transaction information, such as billing address, the last four digits of a payment card as provided by the payment processor, and transaction history;
  • Communications and support information, such as the contents of messages you send to us, and records of customer support interactions;
  • Marketing and subscription preferences, such as whether you wish to receive promotional emails.

B. Information Collected Automatically. When you visit or use the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information through cookies, log files, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies, as described in Sections 5 and 6 below. This information may include:

You may opt out of receiving reminder emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” button found in the footer of the email, adjusting your browser settings, or contacting us directly, or by emailing us at contact(at)maneuveringthemiddle.com. Even if you opt out of promotional communications, we may still send you non-promotional service-related communications.
